Senior U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ordered that documents in the defamation case of Ghislaine Maxwell be unsealed.
On Thursday, documents reveal that Sarah Ransome, another alleged sex-trafficking victim of Jeffrey Epstein, claims that she was also forced to have sex with Alan Dershowwitz.
Ransome’s allegations against Dershowitz—who served as an attorney for Jeffery Epstein and Donald Trump—are part of the public transcript in Manhattan federal court. These documents show that Ransome sued both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell for sex-trafficking her 2006 to 2007.
Ransome’s allegation are in addition to the claims made by Virginia Roberts Guiffre that allege she was forced to have sex with Dershowitz while being sex-trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell.
On Friday Dershowitz Tweeted, “I demanded release of all documents because they contain emails and manuscripts proving in Guiffre’s own words that she never met me. I knew they would repeat her false accusations against me, Al and Tipper Gore and others, which her own lawyers admit are ‘wrong.’”
Ron Perlman Tweeted his response, “Yo Alan Dershowitz, remember how I kept asking you over and over again what the fuck was wrong with you when you kept defending a serial rapist? Never mind.”
Why does Dershowitz choose to defend so many violent men?
Dershowitz has an extensive history of defending prominent men who commit acts of violence against women and minors. Although everyone is legally entitled to a defense attorney, Dershowitz repeatedly selects these men as clients.
For example Dershowitz defended:
Trump who stands accused of sexual violence by more than 23 victims, including 13-year-old Katie Johnson, E. Jean Carroll and his first wife Ivana Trump.
Jeffrey Epstein who was convicted of procuring minors for prostitution.
O.J. Simpson who was accused of killing his wife Nicole Brown Simpson.
Claus Von Bulow who was accused of attempting to murder his wife, leaving her in a coma.
Mike Tyson who was convicted of raping an 18-year-old Miss Black America contestant.
Harvey Weinstein in a civil suit that was brought by multiple women, including actress Louisette Geiss. She and nine others accused Weinstein of running a racketeering operation in which he sexually abused women during his time as a movie executive.
Dershowitz wrote an Op-Ed advocating lowering the age of consent
In 1997, Dershowitz wrote an opinion piece for the LA times called, “Statutory Rape Is An Outdated Concept.” In his article, Dershowitz argued that consent should be lowered to 14-years-old.
On July 20, 2019, a defiant Dershowitz Tweeted, “I stand by the constitutional (not moral) argument I offered in my controversial oped: if a 16 year old has the constitutional right to have an abortion without state or parental interference, how could she not have the constitutional right to engage in consensual sex?”
Dershowitz cuts a cushy deal for Epstein
In 2008, Dershowitz helped Epstein broker a cushy plea deal with federal prosecutors in Florida while Epstein was still under investigation for sexually abusing underage girls.
In this deal, Epstein didn’t have to plead guilty to sex-trafficking of children. Instead, he pled guilty to solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18. This implied that the children he sex-trafficked were prostitutes and able to consent.
Epstein was sentenced to 18 months in jail, where he was let out on weekends to go to “work.” He was registered in Florida as a sex offender. Maxwell was also protected in this sweetheart deal.
Who takes trips with a convicted sex offender?
The Palm Beach Daily News reported that, “Flight logs of Palm Beach billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet dubbed the ‘Lolita Express’ show that attorney Alan Dershowitz flew on this plane at least four times.”
Many wonder why Dershowitz chose to take multiple trips with a registered sex offender.
Why would anyone get a massage at a registered sex offender’s home?
After helping Epstein cut a deal, Dershowitz admitted to having a massage at Epstein’s home. Dershowitz claimed to Local 10 News that he received a massage, but denied it was sexual.
Dershowtz defended himself by stating, “I kept my underwear on during the massage.”
Earlier this month, Maxwell’s court documents revealed damning new information that “massages” were used as part of the Epstein & Maxwell grooming process.
Giuffre was recruited by Maxwell while working at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago!
According to Giuffre’s memoir, she was only 15-years-old when Maxwell recruited her while Giuffre was working at Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago. In her 2016 deposition, she revealed that the word “massage” became code for “sex.”
Giuffre has also stated that she was sexually abused by Prince Andrew.
Meanwhile, many Americans are wondering if Trump will send “well wishes” to Dershowitz just like he did to Maxwell.
