Coronavirus Is Bankrupting Americans As The Republican-led Senate Does NOTHING!

For many of us Americans, Covid-19 has wreaked financial havoc on our lives, leaving many unable to make ends meet. Despite us paying taxes to the government to ensure we are taken care of in return, we were tossed a pitiful $1,200 stimulus check to survive for the next several months and told how generous such a gesture was. And those who received that $1,200 were the lucky ones, as there are still a number of American citizens who have not seen a penny of that money.
In fact, many have not even seen a penny of anything, as there are still a shocking amount of people who have not received a single unemployment check as of yet, despite filing way back in March, three months ago.
So with the government failing the American people and essentially failing at its one and only job: to function, you would think there would be some urgency from the likes of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in getting some additional relief money out to the millions in need of aid.
McConnell expressed bitter disapproval regarding an additional injection of funds via the Heroes Act.
Instead, McConnell and the Republicans in the Senate would rather continue showing us what morally bankrupt wastrels they are, burning precious time into cinders and watching ever so patiently as Americans are left to fend for themselves in a country that has seemingly abandoned them.
Maybe we will see another pathetic display of “generosity” in the near future though, as there is still an ongoing discussion among the House and Senate regarding a new stimulus plan. It’s not a guarantee, but it’s at least something.
Even Donald Trump seems willing to offer additional money to citizens, which, of course, has absolutely nothing to do with getting into everyone’s good graces prior to the next presidential election, despite his entire mishandling of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as his presidency as a whole, being a parade of complete and utter stupidity.
