Donald Trump paid a mere $750 in federal income taxes the year he became president. During his first year office, he paid another $750 — there is something very wrong with this number. That’s under $1000 dollars for a self-proclaimed billionaire for an entire year.
Trump is either committing tax fraud or he is flat broke — or both.
Now according to the New York Times, it appears that Trump guilty of multi-million dollars in tax fraud after failing to declare $287 million in forgiven debt to IRS.
Trump’s primary lender was alleged Russian money-launderer Deutsche Bank.
Fun Fact: Justice Kennedy's son Justin was heavily involved in Trump's shady dealings.
Trump has multiple problems. Recently the New York Times published an article proving he is a failed businessman. He paid less taxes than most regular folks. He's in a massive amount of debt to somebody — we don't know who yet.
DA Cyrus Vance has Trump’s tax records and Deutsche bank records so he can indict Trump for fraud.
Eric Garland Tweeted, “Yes, Trump is owned. We knew this. But what’s unholy here is that America’s banks - WHICH WE BAIL OUT WITH OUR TAXES - pushed a president they knew to be owned by the Russian Mob.“
MuellerSheWrote posted, “WOW. Trump sued Deutsche Bank and got $270M of a loan made to him in part by JUSTIN KENNEDY forgiven, and he never paid taxes on the cancelled debt (which is considered income). All part of Trump Tower Chicago. Trump claims the financial crisis was an ‘act of god.’”
Worse still the New York Times reports that Trump paid no — as in zero — income taxes during the last 10 out of the past 15 years. Read the original New York Times article here: New York Times Trump
Meanwhile, Trump reportedly owes more than $300 million in loans that are coming due during the next four years. Is he planning to use his position as president to benefit himself financially?
Trump was asked about the Times bombshell reporting. Trump made some bizarre accusations about President Obama. Then Trump started whining, “Totally fake news, no. Actually I paid tax. And you’ll see that as soon as my tax returns – it’s under audit, they’ve been under audit for a long time.”
Hundreds Of Millions Of Dollars
Stephanie Ruhle posted, “Embarrassing @realDonaldTrump about not being as rich as he claims to be will not change anything.
Using this reporting to prove he:
- lied to the IRS/cheated on his taxes
- hid his financing sources & put his personal biz interests over our national security”
No Pardon For State Crimes
Tax evasion and tax fraud are both a federal and state crimes. New York State is also allegedly investigating Trump for tax fraud.
Trump can’t pardon himself for state crimes. If Trump wants to stay out of jail, he’s going to have to negotiate a deal with Governor Mario Cuomo.
Meanwhile, Americans need to decide if Trump — who refused to divest himself of his business — is comprised, a tax cheat or just a plain old con-man.
