Georgia Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler’s husband, Jeff Sprecher decided to donate $1 million dollars to a pro-Trump super PAC and just days later AG Bill Barr promptly dropped the DOJ Investigation into her alleged $19 million in illegal stock trades. Was this a Quid Pro Quo?
Loeffler remains under fire for reportedly using Intel from her position as Senator to profit off the Coronavirus pandemic.
Loeffler claims she did not control her stock portfolio and that her $19 million dollar stock trades were made without her knowledge. However, her funds were reportedly not in a blind trust.
GOP Corruption Over Country
Many Americans believe that Republican Senator Richard Burr was forced to step down as chairman of the Senate Intel Committee while he is being investigated for insider trading.
It has been reported that Trump and AG Barr targeted Burr for investigation because they wanted to remove him as chair from the Senate Intel committee. Burr was actively investigating the Trump/Russia scandal. Trump toady Marco Rubio was quickly installed.
Fun Fact: Installing Rubio helped Trump falsely claim no collusion.
Loeffler: Coronavirus Profiteer
Meanwhile, Loeffler is facing tough questions about whether she illegally traded millions of dollars in stocks using Intel she received from her position in U.S. Senate to profit from the coronavirus pandemic. She has never been held accountable.
Loeffler was appointed to her position—not duly elected—so will Georgia purge itself of Loeffler?
Georgia Has Two Seats Up For Grabs
Georgia has two Senate seats up for grabs in 2020. This increases the Democratic Party’s chance to flip the Senate Blue and fire Mitch McConnell as Majority Leader of the Senate. One is Loeffler and the other is Republican David Perdue. Perdue was recently accused of racism and he is a known Trump bootlicker.
Meet Democratic Challengers Ossoff and Warnock
There are two strong Democratic candidates running to fill Georgia’s Senate seats: Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock. Both men have integrity and ethics.
Warnock, “I am an example of the American dream and what happens when government works for ordinary people.”
Ossoff, “Nearly 220,000 killed and not a shred of empathy or personal responsibility from Senator Perdue.”
Democrats only need to flip two more Senate seats total to regain the majority. This would ensure protection for Obamacare and fire McConnell as Senate Majority Leader.
