Prosecutors Focused on Calamari & Weisselberg
If Calamari flips, Trump’s next term could be in prison.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump Organization COO Matthew Calamari is being squeezed by DA Cy Vance’s office as part of the extensive investigation into whether Donald Trump or Trump Organization committed Tax evasion and/or fraud.
Most likely, Prosecutors are working to get Calamari to flip and testify against Trump and possibly Allen Weisselberg.
The million-dollar question is: Did Allen Weisselberg already flip on Trump?
The Washington Post reported that Weisselberg is going to work at Trump Tower daily, but that does not mean he did not flip. He could already be cooperating and going to work as a cover.
In a Criminal Capacity
While initially New York Attorney General Letitia James stated in court documents that her investigation was strictly civil and Vance stated his probe was criminal, a spokesperson for AG James says its’ office has informed the Trump Organization it is actively investigating the organization in a criminal capacity.
Trump and the Trump Organization are being investigated to determine if he overvalued some assets and undervalued others for financial benefit, tax evasion, and fraud.
Prosecutors are also looking into whether the Trump Organization violated tax laws by gifting its employees’ extras like tuition payments to private schools, free cars, and discounted apartments.
Michael Cohen Weighs In
Michael Cohen @MichaelCohen212 Tweeted, “It seems all roads lead back to my testimony before the House Oversight Committee hearing…”
Meanwhile, Trump is reportedly in New York. He is focused on holding more rallies and his delusions of becoming president again in 2024.
Trump denies all wrongdoing, while characterizing the investigation as a “witch hunt.”
If Calamari and/or Weisselberg flip, Trump’s next term could be in prison.
