Pardon Me: Mo Brooks, Andy Biggs, Louie Gohmert, Paul Gosar, Matt Gaetz & Marjorie Taylor Greene!
Reps. Mo Brooks, Andy Biggs, and Paul Gosar stand accused of plotting with Ali Alexander to overturn our 2020 free and fair election.
Updated June 23, 2022
Ali Alexander born Ali Akbar, the “Stop the Steal” organizer, claimed he plotted with three Republican members of Congress: Reps. Andy Biggs, Mo Brooks, and Paul A. Gosar to organize the January 6th attack on the Capitol.
Why have these three members of Congress not been called to testify to the January 6 Committee?
Alexander was part of Donald Trump's circle. He joined Trump at the White House for Trump’s “social media summit.”
Incitement of Sedition
Alexander in a now-deleted video spoke about the attack on the Capitol. He stated, “We four schemed up of putting maximum pressure on Congress while they were voting.”
Alexander was one and the other three were Reps. Biggs, Brooks, and Gosar.
In fact, Brooks was one of the first speakers at the National Mall Rally on January 6.
Brooks railed, “Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking ass. Our ancestors sacrificed their blood, their sweat, their tears, their fortunes and sometimes their lives. Are you willing to do the same?”
Does this sound like incitement?
On the day of the attack, Gosar used his Twitter and Parler accounts to post different messages to rioters using the same photograph. On Twitter, he told the mob “Not to get carried away” while on Parler he posted “Americans are upset.”
All three Representatives allegedly requested pardons from Trump. Rep. Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert, and Margie Taylor Greene also reportedly asked for pardons. Rep. Jim Jordan asked about pardons, but it’s unknown if he asked for a pardon.
