Rush Limbaugh bragged on his show on Wednesday that he knows Trump is lying about MSNBC Morning Joe Host Joe Scarborough.
Trump again raised a baseless theory to accuse Scarborough of murder on Twitter Wednesday. Trump clearly wants everyone focusing on his lies rather than the 100,000 people who have died of Coronavirus and the millions who are left unemployed.
Trump doesn’t appear to care if his distraction campaign hurts the family of Lori Klausutis. Lori Klausutis died of a heart condition in 2001 when she was 28-years-old.
Limbaugh along with Trump doesn’t care if the lies harm the reputation of Scarborough or causes emotional distress to Lori’s family.
Family and friends of Lori Klausutis have been forced to watch in horror as Trump and Limbaugh debase the memory of their loved one with this nonsense conspiracy theory.
Tim Klausutis, Lori’s husband, wrote to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey begging Dorsey to please remove the Trump Tweets.
Tim wrote:"Nearly 19 years ago, my wife, who had an undiagnosed heart condition, fell and hit her head on her desk at work. She was found dead the next morning. Her name is Lori Kaye Klausutis and she was 28 years old when she died. Her passing is the single most painful thing that I have ever had to deal with in my 52 years and continues to haunt her parents and sister.
Twitter has yet to take action to protect Lori’s grieving family from being callously used by Trump and Limbaugh to distract from Trumps failure to act during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Limbaugh bragged about this being a lie so it appears that even Trump’s base knows it’s not true, but won’t call Trump out for his lies.
This has raised the question: Is it okay to cause pain to Lori’s family and ruin Joe Scarborough’s reputation just to distract Americans from the 100,000 death toll?
Trump still has no test kits, still no masks, still no plan. He spent the weekend playing on the golf course.
