Before Donald Trump’s rally in Tulsa, he demanded that stickers, designed to ensure social distancing, be removed—as reported by The Washington Post on Saturday.
All the “Do Not Sit Here, Please!” stickers posted on seats throughout Tulsa’s Bok center were removed by Trump’s staff at his direction.
The stickers were placed on the seats to help protect rally attendees from coronavirus.
This violation of coronavirus safety measures is documented in video and photos obtained by The Washington Post and by a person who witnessed this.
Trump’s rally was an epic fail on every level last Saturday in Tulsa.
Trump took to his podium in a 2/3 empty stadium to give his first rally speech since the coronavirus pandemic so there should have been plenty of space for social distancing. Instead, people were crowded together.
The BOK center, which holds over 19,000 seats, had only around 6,100 attendees.
To add to his humiliation, Trump had to cancel his speech to the overflow crowd because the overflow section was empty.
Moreover, Trump admitted during his speech that he purposely slowed the testing of Americans down to artificially reduce the numbers of coronavirus cases causing a huge outcry from distressed Americans.
Trump bragged, “When you do testing to that extent, you are going to find more people, you will find more cases. So I said slow the testing down."
The rally was supposed to demonstrate to Americans that all is well in America. Instead, it demonstrated that Trump doesn’t care about safety protocols, providing Americans with coronavirus test kits or even protecting his own supporters.
