Why Americans Won't Be Crying For Bill Barr!

On Friday night, Donald Trump commuted convicted felon Roger Stone’s prison sentence. Attorney General William Barr allegedly did not want Stone to be pardoned, but no one in America will be crying for Barr.
Barr was once hailed as a respected conservative attorney general when he served in George H.W. Bush’s administration.
Over the past year and a half, Barr has destroyed his reputation and legacy. He has repeatedly intervened in cases like the Stone case, the Michael Flynn case and last month he was caught trying to force U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Geoffrey Berman to quit so Barr could install his stooge. It is believed that Barr may have been trying to get control of the Ghislaine Maxwell case.
“Sources” told NBC that Barr recommended against the move to commute Stone’s sentence. The “sources” are most likely Barr himself. He probably leaked it to NBC to make sure that Americans knew that he didn’t want Stone’s sentence commuted.
Why would Barr do this? There is speculation that Barr may hold a pre-signed pardon agreement from Trump. If this is true, then any legal maneuvers to prevent Trump from using his pardon powers would put Barr’s pre-signed pardon in jeopardy.
Barr probably isn’t concerned about Trump’s actions. He’s been Trump’s enabler all along. It’s more likely that Barr is concerned about himself.
